Thunder at The Kentucky Center returns!

Enjoy the excitement and spectacle of Thunder Over Louisville from the comfort of The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Make The Kentucky Center your home base for the day while you take in all the action. In addition to incredible views from all three levels of The Kentucky Center building and ample outdoor viewing space on the Belvedere, you can enjoy live entertainment, activities for the kids, convenient access to The Center’s restrooms, and food service and concessions without waiting in long lines. There will be multiple bars available where adults can enjoy a variety of beer, wine options, and specialty cocktails.

Ages:

All ages (16 & under must be accompanied by an adult)

Running Time: 

9:30 AM – Kentucky Center Garage opens
2:00 PM – Doors open, food and beverage service and live entertainment begin.
8:30 PM – Food service ends
9:00 PM – Box Office closes
9:30 PM – Bar Service Ends
9:30 PM – Fireworks start

Access Services:

Accessible Seating – a limited number of reserved seats are available inside The Kentucky Center on the Balcony level facing the river. No reserved seating is available on the Belvedere lawn. Click here for more information on all of our accessibility services.

Parking

There are two options for parking in The Kentucky Center Garage:

• Prepaid parking. CLICK HERE to reserve your spot.  The cost is $26.50.
• Parking day of the event is $25. First come, first served based on availability.

The Kentucky Center Parking Garage will open at 9:30 AM. Please visit thunderoverlouisville.org for information on public parking spaces within walking distance of the river.
